1. Pursuant te the provisions of reference (a) Subject, nereinafter
referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (1) with this Board
requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be corrected
to modify an enlistment/reenlistment document .

2. The Board, consisting of Mr. Zsaiman, Mr. George, and Mr. Ruskin,
reviewed Petitioner’s allegations of error and injustice on

30 June 2014 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined that the
corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record, Documentary material considered by the Board
consisted of the enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes,
regulations and policies.

3, The Boaré, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to
Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows:

a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all
administrative remedies aveilable under existing law and regulations
within the Department of the Navy.

pb. In correspondence attached as ‘enclosure (2), the office
having cognizance over the subject matter addressed in Petitioner's
application has commented to the effect that the request has merit and
warrants favorable action.

CONCLUSION

Upon review and consideration of ail the evidence of record, and
especially in light of the contents of enclosure (2), the Board finds
the existence of an injustice warranting the following corrective
action.

RECOMMENDATION :

That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to
show that;

a. The i5 month agreement to extend enlistment (NAVMC 321A),
operative on or about 15 March 2010, is null and void.
b., Petitioner was discharged and reenlisted on 14/15 March 2010,
vice on or about 17/18 February 2011. The term is 5 years/1 month,
vice 4 years/2 months.

ce, This change will entitle the member to a zone “B" SRB for MOS
0612, which is capped at $25,500 for 48 months of additional obligated
gervice. Remaining obligated service to 28 March 2011 will be
deducted from SRB computation.

a. Note: Petitioner previously received a zone “B” SRB, and
should be adjusted from his present zone “B" entitlement.

e, A copy of this Report of Proceedings will be filed in
Petitioner's naval record.

4. It is certified that quorum wae present at the Board's review and
